AI Content & Consent Policy
Who you can put in a RapVid video, what is not allowed, how AI labels work, and how to report a video.
Last updated: 2026-10-30
Summary
RapVid turns photos and a short topic into an AI-generated rap video. Every video is made by AI and labelled as AI-generated. You may only use photos of yourself, of adults who agreed, of your own pets, or of original illustrated characters. RapVid does not use your content to train AI models. Provider copies are subject to the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. If you break it, we may remove your videos and close your account.
What RapVid makes
RapVid uses third-party AI models to create a short video in which the people, pets or characters in your photos appear to rap an original song. The lyrics, beat, voices and movement are generated by AI. They are not recordings of real performances, and the voices are not copies of any real person's voice.
Consent
You may upload a photo of a person only if:
- the photo shows you; or
- the person in the photo is an adult who has agreed to appear in a RapVid video, and to how you plan to use it.
Before each video, you confirm this by ticking the consent box in the studio. If someone asks you to delete a video of them, please do so. If you share it publicly and they report it, we will remove it.
Adults only
RapVid is for people aged 18 or older. You must be at least 18 to create an account or make a video.
Do not upload photos of anyone under 18, even with a parent's or guardian's permission. We may block photos that appear to show a minor, and we remove any video that does.
No public figures or real artists
Do not use photos of celebrities, politicians, musicians, influencers or other public figures, and do not name them in a topic or in lyrics. Do not ask for a video that imitates a real artist's voice, style of performance or a specific copyrighted song or music video.
Topics and lyrics that name public figures are rejected automatically. This filter cannot catch everything, so you remain responsible for what you submit.
Prohibited content
You may not use RapVid to create or share content that:
- is sexual, sexually suggestive or shows nudity;
- harasses, bullies, humiliates or threatens anyone (a friendly roast is fine; cruelty is not);
- promotes hate or discrimination against people because of a protected characteristic;
- encourages violence, self-harm or illegal activity;
- presents made-up events as real, or could mislead people about real events;
- impersonates someone to deceive or defraud others, or to damage their reputation;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
Lyrics you write yourself must be your own, or you must have the right to use them.
AI labels
Every RapVid video carries:
- a visible "AI-generated" label on the video itself; and
- machine-readable information in the file that identifies it as AI-generated.
Do not remove, crop out, blur or hide either label, and do not re-upload a video in a way designed to strip them. When you post a RapVid video on a social platform, also switch on that platform's AI-content disclosure setting if it has one (for example on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube).
Reporting a video and takedowns
If you believe a RapVid video shows you without your consent, uses your likeness or work without permission, or breaks this policy, email contact@rapvid.ai. Please include:
- the link to the video;
- why you are reporting it;
- your contact details; and
- if the report is about your own likeness, enough information for us to confirm it is you.
What happens next:
- We confirm we received your report.
- We review it and, while we do, may hide the video.
- If the report is valid, we delete the video, its preview image and any source photos we still hold, and tell you.
We act on valid requests about intimate or sexual imagery of a real person within 48 hours. We aim to handle other reports as quickly as possible.
Your photos and data
- Photos you upload are stored privately. SeeAPI currently has no scheduled automatic expiry for stored input files, outputs, task information or moderation results; API request logs are retained for 60 days. Deleting content from RapVid does not automatically delete provider copies. Email contact@rapvid.ai to request deletion, including coordination with the provider.
- We never use your photos, topics, lyrics or videos to train AI models.
- To make your video, your photos and text are sent to the AI and storage providers that process them on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Finished videos stay in your account until you delete them. You can delete videos from My videos. To request account closure or deletion of your data, email contact@rapvid.ai.
Enforcement
We may refuse a request, remove a video or suspend an account that breaks this policy. Credits used on a video that is removed for breaking this policy are not refunded. We may report illegal content to the relevant authorities.
